Becca Moore, an outstanding Badin athlete who runs on the track team, is a sophomore looking to make a mark on Badin High School athletics.
“In the long jump, I plan to exceed my current personal record.” Said Moore. “My current personal record is 13 feet and 11.5 inches. I plan to try to get it to at least fourteen feet.”
However, Becca Moore is the whole package. She runs the 200 meter dash and the 400 meter dash.
“I hope to get around one minute and nine seconds for the 400 meter dash to start out.” Said Moore. “This is my first year running the 200 meter dash and I am going to try my best to get the best time I can possibly get.”
Moore wanted to elaborate on one of the sprinters. Jackson Niesen is known for his speed on the track and on the soccer field and is looking to be the best to ever do it at Badin High School.
“He is a really hard worker who comes to practice with one intention and that is to get better at what he does.” Said Moore. “He does long jump as well as sprinting and will lead us to a very good season.”
The next meet for the Rams is this coming Monday at Talawanda at 4:00.
