Growing up, Burrow lived in Athens, Ohio. He was successful in high school , leading his team to 3 consecutive playoff appearances and even winning Gatorade player of the year in 2014. Before attending LSU , he was with Ohio State. Burrow spent 2 years being the backup quarterback. LSU was a major start in his career that is continuing to skyrocket.
Through his successful journey, Burrows' parents have stuck by his side through it all. Jim Burrow, his dad, was an NFL player himself. He played for the Green Bay Packers , then spent 40 years coaching the sport. He retired in 2019 to be there for every game Burrow's senior year. Football has been a huge part of the family's lives.
Burrow was the first overall pick drafted to the Bengals in 2020. He had a heartbreaking knee injury his first year with the Bengals. Tearing his ACL, cutting his first season with the team short. That didn’t hold him back from his current success. His hard work has paid off. From an AFC champion to being the first ever quarterback/No.1 overall pick to reach the Super Bowl in the first 2 seasons.
