Badin’s Track and Field team has had a successful season so far with great team spirit, many new records set, and high hopes still rolling into districts.
After the recent close team loss to Dayton Carroll at the gcl tournament, Badin is ready for districts and can’t wait to make a run for state.
“I think we did really well at gcls across the board, and we have a really good chance to make it to state in all events. I just think our connection and hard work as a team has got us this far and is going to push us even further hopefully”, Senior Jackson Niesen said.
After a successful indoor track season with many runners going to state, the outdoor team hopes to keep that pace and break even more records.
With great athletes competing in all events, Badin is looking to send numerous athletes to state and make records there as well.
“Since I do running and shot put, I can tell we have a good chance and lots of opportunities to make it far. I think we all got a chance to break our record, and hopefully we can make it to state”, Junior Kaden Starks said.
These amazing athletes, along with great coaches, teammates, hard work, and dedication, have an incredible chance to make it from districts, to regionals, and hopefully all the way to state and break records along the way.
