The last few years, CancerFree KIDS has held an overnight event known as Night for the Fight.
This is where high school students from around the area come together from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM and hear from Cancer survivors, and do fun activities.
You are required to raise a total of $150 to be allowed to participate in the event.
The last two years the event has had to be modified due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Last year it was turned into a virtual scavenger hunt, and a live stream.
This year it was something that they called Night for the Fight: Amazing Race Edition.
This is where each team from each school participates in a bunch of games including minute-to-win-it, dodgeball, cornhole, and so much more.
Unlike 2021, we were able to all meet in-person at 5/3 Arena on the University of Cincinnati campus.
This event has become a hit over the course of the time it has existed, and drawn in more and more students from the greater Cincinnati area.
This year alone, students raised a grand total of $184,338, and altogether over its full time of existing, it’s raised a whopping $1.5 million.
