With the new school year making a comeback, there have been many new things introduced to Badin. New teachers, new protocols, but more excitingly, a new variety of class opportunities. Sewing, leadership , vocals, and drums are all some of the new opportunities to take on here at Badin.
Junior Patrick Ray and Senior Cameron Wright are both in the new class taught by Mr.Keating this year, Leadership. Both have positive feedback with the class and are looking forward to the new year in this course.
Keatings class goes over a variety of things. From teaching the kids about the school, giving them an idea of what it is like working in Badin, and showing them how they can be leaders not only in the classroom, but out anywhere in the world.
“The class is really fun just learning about our own beliefs. We talk a lot and Mr. Keating gives us a unique perspective by being an administrator in the school. Right now we are learning about artifacts around the school and talking about the meaning of it around the school,” Ray said.
Wright also had similar opinions to Ray about the new course. He enjoys the things Mr.Keating is teaching them and how the class comes together and works with each other everyday.
“I like that it’s a small class and I like the energy that everyone brings every single day. Mr.Keating is doing a good job showing us examples of how to be a great leader in our world,” Wright said.
