In June 2022, several Badin students and faculty will be traveling across the world on one of two trips: London, Paris and Barcelona or London, Paris and Normandy.
The first trip will be to London, Paris and Barcelona. These three cities are the most popular in Europe! Whitney Oliver is one of the faculty members that will be leading this trip in June for students and graduates.
“For most people, these trips are once in a lifetime. They may not have the time later in life to do this, and at this price. It is very affordable for students under the age of 18 to go on these tours. There are so many discounts for students,” Oliver said.
Not only is this trip very informative and eye opening, but also affordable for students to pay for. Oliver also explains some of the logistics of the trip.
“This trip is only 10 days so it's the perfect amount of time and we get to spend more time in each city,” Oliver said. “I think getting to experience these cities at a slower pace will set this trip apart from the others. We will be able to have free time to explore the cities on our own in small groups.”
Agenda for the trip:
Day 1: fly overnight to England
Day 2: take a walking tour of London
Day 3: admire architectural marvels of London
Day 4: visit the Tower of London and travel to Paris
Day 5: take a walking tour of Paris
Day 6: get a taste of Parisian style as you journey to the Eiffel Tower
Day 7: enjoy free time to explore Paris, board Barcelona
Day 8: enjoy the beautiful lights and landscaping of Barcelona
Day 9: indulge in your free time in Barcelona
Day 10: depart for home
Optional extend your trip three days and explore Rome
If you think embarking on this journey and traveling across the world with your fellow Ramily would be fun, consider going on this trip.
An upcoming trip to Greece and Italy is also rescheduled for June 2022.
“We are throwing around Greece again for next year. Because of Covid-19 we had to cancel our Trip; from Rome to Athens,” Oliver said. “This trip visited Rome and then on to Athens with a four day cruise of the Greek Islands. If we would have gone we would have gotten to see where Mama Mia was filmed.”

If London, Paris, and Barcelona sounds like the trip for you, be sure to register no later than the end of February. However, the longer people wait to register, the higher the price of the trip. Keep in mind, there is a price increase every month.
One of the fellow upcoming travelers, Luke Centrulla said, “I am interested in seeing the unique styles of architecture. As well as trying new foods and seeing the different landscapes. There are so many unique aspects of life for people all over the world and I can’t wait to get to experience that firsthand.”
