The class of 2022 has a special bond between themselves, which may make it more difficult to leave their friends after high school.
Many of these seniors are still eager to start the next, and possibly most important, step of their lives.
“I‘m excited to move on from high school and start college, but I am going to spend as much time as possible with my friends because I might not see them after this," senior Luke Enderle said.
Whether these Rams are going to college, the military, or straight into the workforce, they all have enjoyed high school with their friends and favorite teachers.
“I can’t wait to start pushing P for real, and stop doing school work and wasting my day. I’m going to miss seeing my friends everyday and some teachers like Mr. [Cole], but besides that I’m not worried about getting out of here and starting a job as an electrician," senior Ben Doepker said.
This is a scary time for many students because there are so many options that may possibly decide how the rest of their lives will play out.
Although this is a stressful and sad time since the seniors are leaving their friends, family, and school behind to pursue their dream life, many are excited to take the next big step.
“I am so ready to be gone, and never have to go pointless meetings again, or waste my entire day at school. I am going to miss my friends and am nervous about becoming a real adult, but I can’t wait to go to college and make more friends and try new things," senior Liz Feltner said.
This is a stressful and scary time for many of these seniors, but it is also an exciting time for them to truly discover who they are and begin to start their own journey.
