On March 10 the BPA business team had an early morning spent singing in the car on the drive to the state competition in Columbus, Ohio. The team had worked hard to place in regionals in order to qualify for state, and the excitement could be felt like electricity buzzling all morning.
Once there, students broke up into their separate categories and worked hard presenting in front of judges or taking timed tests.
The next day was filled with anxiety over the awards ceremony, and students wondered where they placed. The Business Rams broke out into cheers as their presenting team consisting of: Junior Addison Wishart, Junior Rachel Nusky, Senior Elizabeth Kreimer, and Senior Sydney Feenstra got called up to the stage for placing top ten (pictured above). The students were elated the rest of the day while riding back to Hamilton.
Robert Schooley, the head of the business program, was very proud of all of the effort his students put in. "We had a very fun trip in Columbus, and I am proud of how my students represented Badin through their hard work and confidence when competing as young business men and woman," Schooley said.
