The service fair has become a growing tradition over the last couple of years. The basis of the service fair is that organizations from all around the area come in and present themselves to sophomore and junior students as their potential organization for their future service projects.
Last year, the fair wasn't at its full potential, due to Covid-19 precautions, however this year we had about 30 organizations come, and it was great to see it back to normal. Some organizations that could not have adults there, were run by some of our very own students, such as Community Meal Center (CMC), and Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP).
Over 200 students heard from different organizations and each one of them will choose an organization for their senior service projects. These organizations included ones that we have worked with in the past, as well as new ones, hoping for an opportunity to work with high school students.
We also had students from our service leadership board (SLB) help run the fair, as well as some other students who are not on SLB, but are highly involved in service.
