Mrs. Keating always helps bring a positive attitude to all Badin functions. As she holds the position of the student council moderator, she has to set up all of the dances, parades, halftime shows, etc. A lot of her knowledge could be used outside of the classroom.
Another crucial aspect of Keating’s effort and responsibilities is organizing t-shirt designs and sales which she needs help from other teachers and staff at Badin to do so.
“All of the class moderators”, said Keating when asked who helped her set up for homecoming, “Mrs. Trotter, Mrs. Oliver, Mrs. Manfrida, and I ask for extra help from the faculty and staff.”
In 2019, the homecoming parade was from Hamilton Freshman Building to Hamilton High School. However, there had to be some changes this year.
“I did not want to have our parade at Edgewood because it is not our hometown,” said Keating, “I talked to other faculty and staff members and we came up with Joyce Park and it turned out to be a great success.”
The homecoming parade turned out to be a great success and a great amount of that should be credited to Mrs.Keating.
