Teacher Appreciation Week is May 2 to May 6. To show teachers our gratitude, Student Council made thank you cards for all of the teachers. Teachers will also receive a gift card to a local business of their choice.
Parents show their appreciation by bringing in desserts and snacks for teachers.
Something we all can agree on is that the teachers truly care.
“Teachers at Badin are very approachable and are willing to help students in difficult times,” sophomore Sophia Williams said.
Something that makes Badin stand out is how the teachers go above and beyond to make students feel like they are heard and have someone to rely on.
In addition, sophomore Becca Moore said, “Teachers here are very dedicated to helping their students and building relationships.”
In many cases at Badin, teachers’ dedication to students allows them to find different ways to deliver different topics to students with different learning styles.
“I am very grateful for all the work they put in to make their students better,” junior Patrick Ray said.
Teachers’ involvement is greatly impacting students.
“I think it’s important for teachers to be real and be yourself in the classroom,” English teacher Katie Maciulewicz said.
This isn’t a problem for Badin teachers!
“I think of my teachers as friends,” senior Lauren Bierer said. “They create a very welcoming environment that creates a safe space for students.”
A welcoming environment and a good relationship with your teachers is very common at Badin.
“Teachers are very hard working and make a huge impact in my faith journey,” freshman Garrett Dunaway said.
Faith life is implemented in both religion class and every course in some way.
Our teachers are getting recognition this week for all of the hard work they put into their job.
