Senior Dom Seigel truly exemplifies doing it all. Between cross country, swim team, and track; he has a lot on his plate. Not many kids can manage their time to make room for sports, service, a job, and relationships, but Seigel can.
“I always have grown up with a lot to do so I guess I’m just used to making time,” Seigel said.
One big part of Seigel’s life is the athletics he’s involved in. He has been to state multiple times for cross country, districts for swim, and regionals for track. His favorite sport is cross country, but he isn’t sure if he wants to do it at the collegiate level.
“I’ve always enjoyed running the most, but I think I want to give myself a break from competing in college to focus on other things,” Seigel said.
Another part of Seigel’s life is service. His favorite people to serve are the elderly. He helps out in nursing homes to give an extra hand to the staff and brighten the residents days.
“Badin has gotten me involved in a lot of service but I think helping older people is something that I will continue throughout my life,” Seigel said.
Seigel credits much of his success to Badin. He says thats the relationships he has formed here has contributed to his work ethic.
“I am glad that I go to a school that makes doing things fun. Without my peers, I would’ve never stuck with my hobbies. I am grateful to be around people in my school that are there to cheer me on,” Seigel said.
