It’s that time of the year: fall! And the most popular holiday in this season is Halloween.
“It’s different than any theme out there,” senior Andrew Wallrodt said.
But what The Badin Banner wants to know is how many people like the scary theme of Halloween.
The majority of students said that they do like the scary stuff that comes with the holiday. Enjoying the thrill and adrenaline rush they get from being scared. They get excited about the unexpected.
According to Sophomore Leah Bloomfield, “It’s fun and it shows what Halloween is all about.”
Halloween is also cool, “Because it's fun to see how others and even how I react,” sophomore Hannah Birri said.
Those who don’t like the spookiness of Halloween mainly said they don’t like being scared and they don’t like horror movies. Or, it depended on how scary something was.
“I hate being scared and I hate the thought of scary things,” freshman Hailey Lipp said.
“It depends on how spooky it is. If it’s really scary, jump scare type of thing then I don’t like it. If it’s a creepy decoration then I don’t mind it,” freshman Kendyl Roberts said.
Whether you like spooky things or don’t, we all know the true meaning of this season. To get free candy!
