Another Striking Year

It has been a very striking year for the bowling team. Wins and losses, but never one in the gutter. Juniors, Lindsie Ohl and Tracy Fields, have had an exciting year so far this season. Matches and practices left and right. Lindsie Ohl spoke about her bowling experience and why she joined the bowling team.

“I had done after school bowling with my friends every Friday in grade school, so it just became a fun activity for me and something I was good at,” Ohl said.

Ohl has always had a passion for bowling and it has always been fun for her. Ohl also described how the season so far has been difficult for her.

“It’s been a little difficult with my injury, but it’s been good other than that,” Ohl said.

Tracy Fields has also been bowling for some time now. Fields talks about how the season has been different since some seniors left.

“Bowling has been pretty average this year, but so far better than I expected considering we lost two good seniors last year,” Fields said.

With the seniors leaving and the team being slightly different, I wondered if the bowling team has still been close and how welcoming the team is and how close friendships are.

“We all get along really well and it’s really fun to get to know new people,” Fields said.

The bowling team is a fun way to get to meet new people and grow closer to others. They stay close and bring each other up. The team is all about having fun and doing something they love and enjoy.
