Nerf Wars commissioner impeached

One of the co-commissioners of Rams Nerf has been removed from the position. Caitlyn Conrad was voted out for all involvement regarding Rams Nerf.

Conrad received a text message this week from the judges which stated that an all majority vote was made to overthrow Conrad from her position.

“I don’t mind stepping down because it allows me to have more time for my personal life. Nerf Wars wasn’t a burden and it wasn’t something that I dreaded. It was fun to see the competition and I’m sad to let it go,” Conrad said.

“I think that this was the best decision for the game. We didn’t want to do it, but we felt that we had no choice,” Noah Sackenhiem, a judge who was involved in the impeachment process, said.

With everything going on, Dylan Ballauer resigned from his position as judge also.

“I didn’t feel like dealing with the stress and the phone calls late at night and for that reason, I’m out,” Ballauer said.

Gabe Hirka, now head commissioner, has stepped up to finish out this year’s Nerf Wars.

“I have big ideas for the remaining time left for this year’s Nerf Wars. I’m open to suggestions and I’m ready to make unbiased and just calls regarding the game,” Hirka said.

There will be no changes and all former calls made previously by Conrad are final. The game will continue until there is one team left. A spring Nerf Wars may be in the works.
