Favorite Things About Thanksgiving

It’s that time of year again, as Halloween decorations are packed up and stored for next year, another holiday comes right around. Thanksgiving is just a few more days away, and most people are already thinking about the food, parade and of course, Black Friday shopping. Not to mention the fact that their favorite traditions are coming along as well.

“My favorite family tradition is going to Indiana,” Sophomore Hannah Birri said.

“Spending time with my family,” Freshmen Ava Saleeba said.

“Turning on all of our Christmas lights for the first time of the year with all of our family,” Sophomore Jackson Ragland said.

Different people have different traditions they do each year, whether it be bowling or watching the first Christmas movie of the season. The most popular tradition was eating and talking with extended family members. The second most popular was eating their favorite Thanksgiving food.

“Corn pudding is my favorite” Junior Tracy Fields said.

“Stuffing and mashed potatoes,” Senior Evie Wurzelbacher said.

It’s hard to say that Thanksgiving food is not great; there is always something someone can eat during Thanksgiving. The students at Badin have many different favorite dishes, however, the champ of food was mashed potatoes and turkey. While in second place it was stuffing.
