Weird News from November
Welcome back to weird news! Today we will be discussing strange stories from November about costumed mugshots, cat-swapping, and magical boulders.
“You can persuade people through humor,” Steve Inskeep, host of this interview.
An Illinois sheriff station posted a wanted picture on Facebook of a man who was caught driving under the influence. The man saw the picture and left a comment about missing his costume as it was the day before Halloween.
The station photoshopped him a sailor costume and after a few laughing emojis, the man turned himself in.
If you think that’s a story of photoshopping a mugshot is strange, wait till you learn about this cat and its look alike.
To get on a plane with his cat, a man got a body double of a slimmer cat to get on and switch out later. He almost got away with it too if it weren’t for his mistake of posting a picture of it online.
“AFP reports the airline canceled all of his loyalty miles. No word on whether Viktor got to keep his,” David Greene said, host of this interview.
While looking into the matter of the cat’s loyalty points, it turns out the important Wizard Rock has returned from being stolen away.
In Arizona, the use reportedly stole an important landmark, the one ton Wizard Rock, was stolen away.
“It wasn't a diamond or a ruby or an emerald. Local news reports the thieves made off with a one-ton boulder known as Wizard Rock,” Said Noel King, host of this interview
People began to appeal for the boulder to be brought back and so, the thieves listened. The forest officials believed that the same way they took the rock, was how they brought it back.
And that’s all for the weird news of November! From sailor costumed mugshots, cat body doubles, and the return of the Wizard Rock.
