A School of Twins

Many sets of twins are found at Badin High School, as well as four sets in the junior class alone. The school is filled with them, as there are a few sets in the freshman class, and one in the senior class as well.

Everybody thinks it’s cool that we have so many twins in our student body, but how does it really feel to be one of many twins in the school?

“It’s cool, but it’s really not different to me. I’ve had a twin my whole life. People think it’s cool and have asked me questions about it, but I don’t know any different. I feel we are the same as any brother and sister,” Junior Joey Stidham said.

His sister Jessica, has some input on this as well.

“People think it’s cool that we look alike, but I’ve been so used to it, I don’t even think about it. When we got to Badin everyone asked if we were twins, and I said yes, not even thinking I would be asked about it. People have asked if we have telepathy too,” Junior Jessica Stidham said.

The Schweinefuss twins are identical twins. There was a trick that many people used to tell them apart. One twin wore white socks and the other wore black socks, so everyone could distinguish between the two. They have done this everyday their entire life.

Another set of identical twins in the school are the Turner twins, who are freshman and look identical.

But while many look alike, the Andary twins, juniors at Badin, are fraternal twins and look nothing alike.

“No one even knew we were twins until we told them. We don’t really look alike, but when we were younger, we looked almost identical. If you know you can tell, but most couldn’t at first,” Taylor Andary said.
