With the new year comes new events, responsibilities and much more. Badin students everywhere have some interesting predictions for the new year.

Baseball players such as junior Sergio Decello predicts that baseball will be winning state. Badin baseball will be division one this year so going to state will be a tough task.

Other than sports Decello predicts, “Many kids will fail the drug test. Kids will be angry about the drug test."

We will have no way of knowing for sure, because if a student fails, it will be completely confidential.

While some students are scared about the drug test, other students such as junior Sam Webb predicts “A lot of the drug tests will be fake.” This is only a prediction so only time will tell whether or not these tests are real.

Decello also has interesting predictions about the world and the U.S for the new year.

“We will enter World War III and win. We are going to find a whole new country and we will have 51 states,” Decello says.

When asked why he thought this would happen, Decello gave no answer and simply said that he just knows.

Webb also gave some predictions for the U.S in the new year such as “Trump will be re-elected, USA will nuke someone."

Overall we have no way of knowing if anything they said will come true, looks like we just have to wait and see!
