Derrick Partman recently opened the doors of Londyn Nutrition, one of Hamilton’s newest shops. Londyn Nutrition, which is named after Partman’s daughter, had its grand opening on October 23, 2019 and has taken off. With over 9,000 follows on Facebook and over 1,000 followers on Instagram in four months, Partman said the support has been amazing.
Derrick Partman started his gym, Rise Fit, in his apartment complex in 2015.
“It doesn’t matter where you train at. If you have great service and great product, they’ll come,” Partman said.
In 2017, Partman opened a new gym space located next door to where Londyn Nutrition is now and is currently expanding that space.
Partman got the idea of opening Londyn Nutrition after visiting a similar shop in Frankfort, Kentucky. He started by making shakes in the back of his gym after training when the idea crossed his mind.
Partman wanted to name it Rise Fit Nutrition but he soon came up with the idea of using this as a learning experience for his daughter to teach her about generational wealth.
“Why not start now and give her a jumpstart,” Partman said.
When Londyn was five, Partman asked his daughter, “Wouldn’t it be crazy to own your own business?” The energetic eight year old, can run the register and knows how to make shakes.
“She can make shakes non stop,” Partman said.
The shakes work as meal replacement shakes. The shakes are about 250 calories, six to nine grams of sugar, and 11 grams of carbs each.
The variety of shakes include, Strawberry Cheesecake, Banana Split, Lemon Pound Cake, Buckeye, Banana Cheesecake Pudding and much more.
Londyn Nutrition serves more than just shakes, other menu items include Blue Wave and Raspberry Lemonade Tea.
Londyn Nutrition is located at 110 S 2nd Street and is open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays.
Partman wants the Badin community to know that Londyn Nutrition is a friendly business that just wants to teach the Hamilton community about how to live a healthy lifestyle.
When asked about the location of his shop, Partman said, “I didn’t pick Hamilton, Hamilton picked me.”
