Spirit Olympics: Show Up and Play
The annual Spirit Olympics are a time of extreme excitement and emotions. Every year each grade competes for bragging rights. We interviewed a few freshmen from the class of 2023 on their thoughts and expectations of the Spirit Olympics
“The Spirit Olympics seemed pretty interesting. It was a chance for us freshmen to show out. It was definitely worth all the hype. Everyone seemed to take it very seriously. If I could change anything about Spirit Olympics, it would be the way you can get points during the week. Spirit Olympics should be won off performance, not dress up.”
“Everyone talked about how the Spirit Olympics was super fun, and I was really excited for all the games. It was worth everything that people were saying about it. If there was anything I could change, it would be being able to get more points or maybe they have more games. You should definitely be able to win off every event including all the miscellaneous events like penny wars and raffle tickets.”
While the seniors won for their third year in a row, the lower classmen are excited to claim victory next year. In 2021, the students are ready to compete fiercely for the best class at Badin High.
