Give Green Day!

Spirit Week is drawing to a close and the out of uniform days are over. But Badin pride won’t waver!

Give Green Day is one show of our never ending support of our school.

Give Green Day was a fundraiser to show our love and pride for Badin by wearing, of course, green. Both students and faculty were asked to show their support today.

It was also implemented for Spirit Week points by asking students to wear three items of green to help them excel during the Spirit Olympics.

And for those who like to go “all out” for Spirit Week themes, the person with the best outfit in their class that day was eligible to receive a twenty five dollar gift card (donated by Student Council) to a place of their choice!

A vote was sent out for everyone to send a picture of their favorite student and faculty member in their green dress.

Each grade was told their winners during the Spirit Olympics. Freshman winner was Bernie Lampe, Sophomore winner was Lexi VonBargen, Junior winner was Will Brossart, and Senior winner was Adam Salek.

The grand total raised for Give Green Day was $54,000 donated!

Mr. McKinney sent out an email to everyone thanking them for their love for Badin and seeing everyone dressed in their garb.

“This is why we are the ‘REAL RAMS! We are RAMILY!” he said.
