Food Review: Almond Sisters Bakery

The Food Review headed to the Almond Sisters Bakery this month for a sweet treat. Almond Sisters is located on High St. in the heart of downtown Hamilton.

In a quaint little spot the bakery is the perfect spot to find muffins, cookies, cupcakes, etc. While enjoying your treat, it has seats looking out onto the busy streets of Hamilton.

On my trip, I got the Almond Joy croissant. The croissant had a crunchy outside and a soft inside. It was filled with a combination of coconut flakes, shaved almonds, and a creamy chocolate. The rich flavor made it a decadent dessert to enjoy with milk. On top of the croissant was a dusting of powdered sugar and a chocolate ganache drizzle.

The price of the croissant was a little expensive ringing up for $4 but it was a decent size. Their prices differ depending on the item though, so there are cheaper options if you’re not looking to spend too much.

The options at the bakery but vary day by day. All the desserts look amazing and are definitely worth a try. So next time you’re craving something sweet Almond Sisters is definitely the place to eat.
