Faculty Alumni Feature: Mr. Browning

Mr. Browning, who graduated Badin in 2013, enjoys interacting with his students everyday.

As a student, Browning participated in clubs and in athletics.

“I played baseball and football all four years, I was in Mr. Zimmerman’s fishing club Senior year. I also participated in things like the Spirit Olympics,” Browning said.

Browning likes to teach multiple courses because he can interact with different classes everyday.

“Teaching Health and P.E., I get to interact with Freshmen through Seniors. The highlight of my day is interacting with everyone,” Browning said.

Browning says that many things at Badin have changed since he was a student here.

“Physically, the school looks a lot different from when I was here. The paint, the gym, and the weight room are different. When I played baseball and football we had some of that stuff, but it has improved since then,” Browning explained.

While many things at Badin have changed, Browning thinks that the atmosphere of the school has stayed the same.

“The family community has stayed the same, and some of the teachers that taught me. The teachers are awesome to be coworkers with,” Browning said.

Browning wanted to come back to Badin because of the culture and the atmosphere.

“Always going back to what you know is something easier to do. I knew the culture here hadn’t changed much, which is good. I wanted to go someplace I already knew I fit in and belonged,” Browning said.
