Cole returns for year 2

There are some new teachers at Badin and returning teachers. Mr. Cole, the long term sub for Mrs. McAdams last year, returns to teach some new subjects.

“I teach psychology and French four. I love teaching both, and I really couldn’t pick a favorite,” Cole said.

Cole taught French last year, but with the return of his sister, Mrs. McAdams, there were some compelling factors to his staying.

“I really love the atmosphere around here,” Cole said. “It’s laid back, yet it can be serious at the same time. I also really like the new opportunities that are available here at Badin, like teaching some of the same students I was teaching last year.”

Cole does not just teach psychology and French in his lessons.

“I like having the flexibility of my schedule. I try to incorporate juggling and other non-traditional things into my lessons. I think it’s very important.”

Cole hasn’t always taught at Badin, as he has a background in teaching around the area.

“I taught in Hamilton City Schools before Badin. I really like it here because of the community feel. I always feel like there are people that are willing to talk to me around here.”

Cole majored in psychology at William and Mary College in Williamsburg Virginia, but he his happy he made it to Badin.

“Overall I am very happy I get to teach here. I love working across the hall from my sister and I really like the kids here,” said Cole.
