Students react to new year

Earlier this week a survey was sent out at Badin High School to see what people thought about the first day of school. Interestingly enough underclassman were just scared and anxious, and seniors just excited for their last year.

Today, Sarah Totten was interviewed here’s what she has to say about the first day of school. She said, “it was long, and mostly consisted of being handed a paper of rules and expectations.”

Allison Vess a freshman loved her new school.

“It was so much fun, meeting new teachers and new students. I can’t wait to be here for four more years!” Vess said.

"My day was horrible. I was so stressed out about going to my new classes, new teachers and their expectations, and the transition from summer to the first day of school," a senior said.

Some people were so excited to go back to school. People said their first days were, “positive”, “it was good, I felt invigorated and excited”, “great! best first day of school this year!”

Then again we had people who were dreading school saying, “Awful, I want to go back to summer.”

Freshman said they felt so welcomed by upperclassmen. Most saying they were anxious at first but then felt welcomed to the RAMILY.
