Backstory

The far future is a time of rapid growth and development. The travel of space has been mastered but not the galaxy. The mining companies are the most powerful of entities in known space. Their explorer cadre are the Pilots. They are the ones that drive into the reaches of the unknown universe to collect the rich minerals for the mining companies. They are the ones that brave unknown rich galaxies untouched by others and fraught with danger.

You are a Space Miner. The most elite of the Pilots, the one sent to the unknown for the first exploration and collection. You led the company’s future and are the best hope of success. The dangers of the galaxy, an old companion of yours. They are of little concern but other Space Miners? They seek a great future for their company as well as you.

The companies compete in the known space. You and the other Space Miner compete for the future in the unknown through any means necessary. Even if it means venturing into dangerous, unstable reaches of the galaxy.

Who will be the richest and lead their company to great success or total defeat. That is to you to discover, Space Miner.
