Japan is an Aging Population.

Japan is the fastest ageing country in the world; the baby boomer generation (people born 1947-49) have reached retirement age. Japan’s Birth Rate is lower than its Death Rate = population is ageing + declining. For the last 30 yrs the number of babies born has decreased.
