How to evaluate the impacts of a development on an area
Social: Is all about people and the quality of life in an area. How does the development affect people? Positive and negative affects. Does it provide increased services for the area or increase traffic flow. Are the amenities offered by the new development going to improve things for locals?
Environmental: Is all about it affects the landscape. Does it impact land, vegetation or animals? Does it create pollution or destroy the landscape?
Economic: Is all about money and the financial benefit or impact on an area. You should be thinking does this development create jobs or is going to bring more money to an area. Conversely, is it going to reduce house prices or badly impact the cost of services in an area.
