The 2nd 9 weeks we learned of people, events and issues leading to the Texas Revolution, including the siege of the Alamo and Battle of San Jacinto. You discovered Sam Houston, the former Governor of Texas, for whom Houston is named after, and Mirabeau Lamar, the 2nd president of the Republic of Texas, after Sam Houston.
