Curriculum

Our Curriculum Vision:

to become confident and fluent with the unfamiliar

In Caldicotes Primary Academy, we aim to produce independent, critical thinkers who take a creative approach to problem solving through effective communication. Our Curriculum for All approach helps us to achieve our intention, by placing the child at the centre of all learning.  Through our immersive, inclusive and inspirational curriculum provision, our pupils are challenged to ‘find their remarkable’; pushing their limits and striving for excellence, discovering what’s possible and being unusually brave in their choices, finding their ‘big heart’ throughout their learning journey with us and being prepared, eager and ready for the next stage as they look to become remarkable citizens of the future.

Academy Aims - 2023-2024

Attendance - whole school to be at 97% reducing gaps for SEND, Boys and particularly reducing PA;

Quality of Education - adopting our 'Caldi Teaching approach' to ensure excellent teaching, every lesson for every child every day;

Curriculum development - successfully implement new curriculum to raise standards towards #AET490;

Middle leadership - develop the effectiveness of school leaders, focusing on alignment, accountability and collaboration, that ensures decision-making throughout the network of leaders;

Emotional health and wellbeing - improve health, wellbeing, resilience and attendance for staff and pupils, reducing absence and suspensions.
