Description:

This semester-long elective course introduces high school students to the art and craft of cinema through hands-on, practical experiences. Students will explore film as a storytelling medium, focusing on its visual, emotional, and narrative power. 

Through film appreciation, acting for the camera, and directing, students will cultivate creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking. By the end of the course, students will have created their own short films, showcasing their understanding of cinematic language and their ability to tell compelling visual stories. The course aims to boost interest in the performing arts while developing technical and artistic skills in filmmaking.
