Prerequisite: Acceptance into the Entrepreneurship Practicum.
The Entrepreneurship Practicum brings business to life by combining key areas like marketing, finance, operations, leadership, and strategy into a hands-on experience. Students develop business models, manage budgets, create marketing strategies, and solve real-world challenges, learning how all parts of a business connect. They create a tangible product or service, gaining practical experience while building and leading a team. Beyond that, it cultivates an entrepreneurial mindset—encouraging creativity, adaptability, and problem-solving—that can be applied to any field, ensuring students are prepared to innovate and succeed wherever their paths take them.
The Entrepreneurship Practicum will be structured around a clear set of entrepreneurial milestones that students must complete to earn academic credit. This milestone-based approach allows students to progress according to their achievements rather than adhering to a fixed semester or academic year schedule.
Instead of a traditional teacher, students could work with mentors who are industry professionals, business leaders, or alumni. These individuals provide guidance, feedback, and evaluation based on real-world business performance, offering practical insight that a classroom teacher might not.
