This course is designed for proficient users of the language able to perform complex tasks related to their studies. Students understand a wide range of texts and comprehend their implicit meaning. They learn to express themselves fluently and spontaneously. They can use English language efficiently, effectively, and purposefully for social, academic, and professional purposes. They learn skills meaningful to produce clear, well-structured, detailed texts on complicated subjects, showing correct use of organizational patterns, and syntactic as well as, grammatical mechanics. Students apply their skills in literary analysis, research, and oral presentations, group discussions, and debates. The course prepares students with skills corresponding to C1 level of CEFR.
