- Work with your three-year-old on expressing a broad range of emotions in different contexts, noticing strong emotions, and beginning to recognize and name some basic emotions, i.e. happy, sad.
- Work with your four-year-old on expressing a broad range of emotions, beginning to notice more subtle emotions (i.e. worried, embarrassed) in self and others, and using words to describe their own feelings when prompted and sometimes unprompted.
