Nursery Feedback

In order for our Nursery Staff to gather feedback from parents/guardians regarding a variety of issues concerning nursery, how they feel about various topics and how their child is learning and developing, we use online questionnaires and have regular discussions with our parents and children.

Below are some responses from our most recent questionnaire and also some responses from children regarding what they like about their nursery.

Questionnaire from September 2020 -


We asked parents;

How does your child feel about their return to/starting nursery?

Their responses-

"Over the moon. Really enjoying it."

"Great. Always looking forward to Nursery."

"She’s not long started and was really excited to start."

"Very excited and they feel very happy."

"Nervous"

"Still getting up to speed with spending time with other children but happy to see teachers"


We asked parents;

Please let us know if there is anything you feel we could have done better with regards to returning to nursery during the Covid - 19 Pandemic?

Care Inspectorate

We are regulated by The Care Inspectorate, HMIe/Education Scotland and Aberdeen City Council. This means we are closely governed in our practice and are regularly inspected to ensure we are meeting the required standards.

The new Health and Social Care Standards replace the National Care Standards and are now relevant across all health and social care provision.

The new Standards set out what we should expect when using health, social care or social work services in Scotland. They seek to provide better outcomes for everyone; to ensure that individuals are treated with respect and dignity, and that the basic human rights we are all entitled to are upheld.
