In order for our Nursery Staff to gather feedback from parents/guardians regarding a variety of issues concerning nursery, how they feel about various topics and how their child is learning and developing, we use online questionnaires and have regular discussions with our parents and children.

We asked "Is the nursery well led and managed?"
100% of parents strongly agreed
We asked "Do staff treat your child fairly and with respect?"
100% of parents strongly agreed
We asked "Do you feel your child is safe at nursery?"
100% of parents strongly agreed
We asked "Are you satisfied overall with the nursery and would recommend it to other parents?"
90% of parents strongly agreed and 10% agreed.
Comments from the survey included:
I'm more than satisfied with Skene Square nursery, has been amazing time for her and because of that she is happy to go to school now!
I just have to say thank you to all the staff.
My child had a well rounded development at nursery. My child liked the nursery teachers , she says they helped her and encouraged to do things . My child says the nursery teachers listens to her all the time and they are very kind.
For us the parents skene square nursery gave my child the opportunity to express her self , encouraged her creativity, nurtured her emotions and grew her confidence. I strongly believe and support the learning processes and skills applied by the school and the staff. The staff are super supportive, helpful and inclusive.
I believe Skene Square nursery helped my kid to grow and develop in many ways. The staff is very supportive and encouraging, and my kid loves them a lot. I am very happy about how they treat each kid with so much love and care.
Transition was well planned. My child did not have any difficulties settling in P1.

We are regulated by The Care Inspectorate, HMIe/Education Scotland and Aberdeen City Council. This means we are closely governed in our practice and are regularly inspected to ensure we are meeting the required standards.
The new Health and Social Care Standards replace the National Care Standards and are now relevant across all health and social care provision.
The new Standards set out what we should expect when using health, social care or social work services in Scotland. They seek to provide better outcomes for everyone; to ensure that individuals are treated with respect and dignity, and that the basic human rights we are all entitled to are upheld.
