As part of Aberdeen City Council's efforts to support families to be safer online they have launched a free mobile app, which offers vital online safety and cyber resilience information and advice for staff, parents/carers and pupils.

The award-winning Safer Schools App provides parents and carers support on topics including social media, gaming, image sharing, bullying, mental health, and sexual exploitation online.

The app can also be used by children and young people and contains age appropriate content for them to stay safe in our digital world.

How to setup the Safer Schools app:
1. Search for ‘Safer Schools’ in your device app store.
2. Once the app is installed, type in your school name.
3. Type the access code 7440 or scan the QR code on the right.
