Technologies and Digital Learning are vital aspects of our curriculum and we want our children to confidently use their developing skills across their learning experiences.
At Skene Square, our children benefit from regular access to a range of technology through our whole school WiFi access. This includes utilising a suite of technology including laptops, Chromebooks and iPads. We also retain our computer suite with laptops to facilitate larger group learning activities. We aim to regularly review, update and adapt what we enable the children to learn with and through in the fast moving aspect of the curriculum.
With regard to the curricular experiences and outcomes, concepts within Technologies are grouped within six key contexts:
As pupils enroll for Skene Square Primary School they are required to agree to our Acceptable Use Pupil Policy.

Children are also issued with an Education Google Account which enables children to access the wide range of apps within G:Suite. These apps will be used in school and can be accessed from home.
We aim to be at the forefront of using technologies to enhance learning, including through developing the ways in which our parents, carers and families can engage with this learning.
All of our pupils have access to Texthelp Read&Write both at school and at home through the extension on their Google Account.
Used daily by millions of students worldwide, Texthelp Read&Write is an award-winning literacy toolbar that helps reach every learner and realise their full potential.
