3. SMART Reading Activites

SMART (Self Motivated at Reading Time)

Here are different activities for you to choose from after ou have completed reading a novel.

Initially we will be exploring different activities together in a group, so that by term two you will know what is expected and will be able to choose which activities you want to do and be self-monitoring to check you complete what is necessary in the allocated time.

ACTIVITY LEVELS

There are 3 levels of activities. It is expected that the more in-depth activities, which are worth more points, will take you longer to do.

Your aim is to cover enough activities to give you 50 points over a 5 week period.

Bronze activities should generally take no more than a week to complete, silver about two weeks, and gold up to three weeks.

SCHEDULE

You will need to begin by working out a schedule which breaks down the project into the smaller tasks you will need to do, and when you would expect to complete each of these. This should help you keep on track. Especially with the silver and gold tasks.
