1 Week Guided/ 1 Week Independent

You will all get 1 week guided writing with me, followed by 1 week independent writing for planning and creating your independent writing task.

By the end of the second week your writing task needs to have had at least 1 other person edit and proofread it and then it should be published on your blog.

Here are some possibilities of independent writing ideas.

An article about something you are interested in, script for a movie/animation, a book/film review, poem, song/lyrics, argument, description, recount, biography of a famous person, short story, instructions on how to make something, a piece of writing related to work you have been doing in reading.

You need to make sure that over the term you cover a range of different types of writing.

In your independent writing week you should have time to try and publish your writing creatively.

e.g.

You could film yourself reciting your poem, record the song you have written, make a slideshow, animation, documentary or movie.

Remember though, the dead line is important so don't be too ambitious. Make sure what you decide to do is achievable by the end of the week.

Also remember that whatever writing you choose to do you need to make it effective so you will need to rework it until you are happy with it.
