Reflection

Learners are more enthusiastic in sharing their ideas with others in the class when they know they get to use these ideas in a follow up animation - I really liked the vocabulary they came up with independently and it was great to see this used in many pieces of writing. This is only the second animation activity I have attempted, but already the engagement and sharing by the learners is markedly improved. The use of animation has motivated my learners to be enthusiastic about their writing - they craft their writing, selecting characters which they then use to create their animations. I have found learners are more enthusiastic and keen to make their writing interesting so they have more to use in their animations.
