(WOW 7.4 and higher)
With a paid maintenance agreement, the Send to Support feature allows a WOW developer the ability to send error logs directly from a WOW operation to PlanetJ support email without copy/paste/email. To use this feature, developers must first have an authorized login provided by PlanetJ Corporation. If you do not have a login for this feature, contact PlanetJ Corporation via email to info@planetjavainc.com and request "send to support" configuration values be provided to you.
To set this up, log into the WOW Builder and navigate to the WOW Utilities
Then in menu Keyed Values, click on Configuration Values
You will have to enter two separate new configuration values, one for the user ID and one for the password. For the first, the Key Value should be as shown below (WOW_SUPPORT). The Value Value should also be as shown below (CUSTOMER_ID). The Display Value value should be entered as a unique company number exactly as provided by PlanetJ Corporation.
For the second configuration value, the Key Value should be as shown below (WOW_SUPPORT). The Value Value should also be as shown below (PASSWORD). The Display Value value should be entered as your company state as provided by PlanetJ Corporation, which should be the two letter abbreviation for your company's state.
Once the configuration values are properly set, the user should have the ability to send an error directly to PlanetJ's support team from their operation edit screen by clicking "Send to Support" key. This will send information to the support team on the operation code and error logs associated with it.
You can be confident the PlanetJ support team has received a message, as shown by this message:
