Setting a project schema’s environment

A project schema can be assigned to a particular environment. Doing so will prevent WOW from accessing that

project schema unless WOW’s environment mode is set to the same value as the project schema’s environment.

To set the environment for a project schema, go to the Project Schema page and edit a project schema.

Other environment configurations

Possible values, configuration values, and table-driven actions all can be associated with a particular environment.

Like field descriptors, setting a specific environment on one of those metadata components means that metadata

record will only be used when WOW is running in the specified environment.

For example, a possible value record which is set to an environment of Test would not be read by WOW when

WOW’s environment mode is Production.
