Using the Zip Logs Wizard, developers can automatically access Tomcat error log files, zip them and email them to PlanetJ support.
To access this feature, go to Wizards section of the WOW Builder as shown:
Click on the “execute” button next to Tomcat Log Files to open this:
Users can check any number of the boxes next to logs but WOW will automatically select all logs recorded in the most recent past 24 hour period. Check or uncheck any others needed and scroll down to click the “Zip and Download” or “Zip and Email”. You would select the download feature if your company email blocks this type of activity.
Zip & Email will automatically send to support@planetjavainc.com all selected files from Tomcat logs in a .zip file. When email is successfully sent, you will see this message at the top of the WOW Builder screen:
While Zip & Download will prompt you to save to your local PC as shown here:
You will then need to manually email them to PlanetJ Support.
