WOW Wizards
Introduction
[CE version] A Wizard is a tool that automates creation of a certain type of Operation. (For example, charts, graphs, or a dashboard.) A Wizard makes creating an Operation much easier. It presents easy options to the user, or may automatically configure the Operation with standard options.
The Wizards section in the WOW Builder also contains some tools that are helpful for WOW Developers, for instance access to Tomcat Logs directly from the WOW Builder rather than finding them on the system in which Tomcat is installed on. Also the ability to manage the logging level of the tomcat server directly from the WOW Builder and on the fly, rather than being forced to change a .xml file and restart tomcat.
Users do not have to use a Wizard, but instead they may choose to customize or otherwise edit the Operations produced by a Wizard after it is created. In some cases, the Wizard may create multiple pre-built Operations. For example, if you create a Dashboard 2x2, this will create the pre-built Parent Operation that holds the four Child Operations that are ready to be customized to render the results desired for each Operation. The way one could utilize these four Child Operations for example is:
Child_1: displays Department
Child_2: displays Department Manager
Child_3: displays Department Employees
Child_4: displays Goals (sales, shipping count, etc.)
A Wizard in itself is a special kind of Operation, one that is pre-built and provided for use by developers. Several Wizards are included as part of the WOW Builder. Some of the various types of Wizards that WOW has available are shown below.
Note: All Operations/Field Descriptors/Possible Values accessed or modified from any WOW Wizard are all original Operations and deleting them, modifying or changing them will affect the operation in real time.
For instance, if using the Wizard “Recently Changed Operations,” the Wizard is querying to display the most recently changed Operations, with the most recently changed on top. The results are based on the current User Library. If you change an operation while using this Wizard, the operation be changed in the running application and the changes will be available for end-users immediately.

Possible Values
All these Types are given a Wizard Name based upon the action that will take place. For example, under the Type, Operations, if you click the first Execute button with the Wizard Name of "Recently Changed Operations," the WOW Builder will display a list of all the operations that have been recently changed.
Admin
If you have more than one developer using the WOW builder, you can also create additional accounts. This is done by navigating to the "Wizards" menu on WOW builder screen. Scroll down to "Create Developer Account". Click on "Execute"
Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required. Once all required fields are filled out, click the "Insert" button.
Fusion
Fusion has a variety of Chart Types to choose from. The type directly influences visual aspects for charts, gauges, etc; allowing the developer to display Operation results differently according to various needs. WOW Fusion Charts is an add on product and not part of base WOW. If you do not own the WOW Fusion Charts addon, the Fusion operations created by the Wizards will not function.

There are many different types of charts to choose from, you can see some examples and more detailed information in our WOW Fusion Charts documentation: WOW Fusion Charts.

Operations
Operation Wizards query the operations within the current User Library and return results based on the Wizard in which was run. These operations can then be modified or changed and those changes will be reflected just as if you found and edited them within the Application they originated in.

Field Descriptors
This Wizard will display all the Field Descriptors that have been recently changed. It allows the developer to search based on User whom was responsible for the update.
example: Wizard displays field descriptors that have been recently updated and by which user.
System
Tomcat Log Files - this shows all log files of Tomcat and allows them to be previewed online without the need for direct access to the file system. (WOW 7.3 and above) allows auto zip & download or zip & email feature to send logs directly to PlanetJ Support. More information can be found here.

Tomcat Log Level - this allows change at the global level of Tomcat logs. It can be useful for developers needed to debug problems.

This creates a default Google Maps Operation (with required predefined configuration, similar to the Fusion Dashboard Wizard / Fusion Chart Wizard). WOW Google Maps is an add on product and not part of base WOW. If you do not own the WOW Google Maps addon, the Google Maps operations created by the Wizards will not function.
