Your Responsibility for Staff General Onboarding Training
You are responsible for:
Ensuring that all new employees, students, supplemental staff and volunteers complete the initial Onboarding training using the Orientation Site. The home page of the site contains checklists as guidance.
Managing records of completion of the training according to NKY Health protocol. (The top of each checklist contains guidance about how to manage the records.)
In general:
You should scan records for NKY Health employees as .PDF files and send them to hr@nkyhealth.org for inclusion in the employee's Personnel files.
You should scan records for visiting students as .PDF files and send them to student.coordinator@nkyhealth.org.
You are responsible for keeping records for volunteers and supplemental staff who report to you. Its recommended that you keep records for supplemental staff with the contracts for their agencies.
Your Responsibility for Staff General Compliance Training
You are responsible for:
Ensuring that all staff (NKY Health and supplemental) and volunteers who report to you complete annual compliance related training as assigned. (For full-time employees, most of these assignments will be in MyPURPOSE, NKY Health's Learning Management System (LMS).)
Retaining records of completion for supplemental staff and volunteers who report to you. (Records for employees will be retained on a transcript in the LMS.)
Your Responsibility for Staff Program Training
You are responsible for:
Finding program-related training for all staff (NKY Health and supplemental) who report to you.
Ensuring that all staff (NKY Health and supplemental) and volunteers who report to you complete program related training as assigned.
Ensuring that NKY Health staff who report to you upload a record of each training completed to NKY Health's Learning Management System (LMS) immediately after completing the training.
Retaining records of completion for supplemental staff and volunteers who report to you.
Your Responsibility for Employee Development Training
You are responsible for:
Ensuring that all NKY Health staff who report to you have an appropriate development plan.
Assigning development training to NKY Health employees who report to you. (See the Training and Development Resources page of this site or contact Human Resources.)
Ensuring that NKY Health employees who report to you upload a record of each training completed outside the Learning Management System (LMS) immediately after completing the training. (See the MyPURPOSE pages for more information.)
Your Responsibility for Your Own Training
You are responsible for:
Working with your supervisor to establish a training and development plan that works for you. (Please click on the bars below for more information.)
Uploading a record of each training you complete outside the Learning Management System (LMS) immediately after completing the training. (See the MyPURPOSE pages for more information.)
