Clown Catastrophe

Clowns have been a big issue in the United States. For the past several months, clowns have been terrorizing America. Kids have been saying that the clowns have been offering them money to go in the woods with them. Clowns have been reported by CNN News in ten states.
In Winston, North Carolina a clown tried to lure a boy with candy into the woods.
Brayden B. claims, “The clowns are scary.’’
Schools in the United States have been sending out emails saying to watch out for clowns, and never walk alone. Schools also have been shutting down because of a women getting attacked by a clown. People think they are scary because some have weapons.
Three teenagers were detained for wearing clown masks in a Local store in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Be careful, and watch out for clowns.
Why the Browns are a Mess

The Cleveland Browns are the worst team in the league so far this season with a 0-6 record. The Browns or as some people call them, “The clowns” have three fourths of their starters out for the season.
The Browns are sadly on their sixth string quarterback, and it’s only the sixth week of football. They are depending on their quarterback Cody Kessler. Cody has done better than the quarterbacks from the past, based on his stats. One of the browns big injuries was Joe Haden, their best cornerback. Joe Haden has just recovered from a foot injury and a groin injury. The Browns are depending on their running game this season, due to the quarterback injuries. Browns are number two in rushing because of Isaiah Crowell.

Trevor S. says, “I thought they were going to be good this year ,but they’re trash like always.”
Duncan S. claims, “The Browns choke every game when they are ahead by a big margin.”
Isaac R. stated, “If the Browns lose their two star wide receivers like Corey Coleman and Terrelle Pryor, then they have no passing game.”
The fans are not happy with how the season is going so far. The Browns have lost to the following teams, Patriots, Redskins, Dolphins, Ravens, Titans and, Eagles. All of the games have been close and the Browns have choked in all of them.
The Browns are a complete mess this season.
Are the Cavs Going Back to Back?

The Cavs are in the preseason and almost in the actual season. Their first game of the season is on October 25th against the New York Knicks. The Cavs got a few new players this year. Their new players are Chris Anderson, Mike Dunleavy Junior, Kay Felder, DeAndre Liggins, Markel Brown, Toney Douglas, Jonathan Holmes, Cory Jefferson, and Eric Moreland. They showed off all their skills against the Orlando Magic.
The starters for the Cavs this year so far are Kyrie Irving, Iman Shumpert, LeBron James, Kevin Love, and Tristan Thompson.
Isaac R. said, “I think they will resign J.R. Smith because he is a valuable player and LeBron wants him on the team.” It turns out Jr Smith signed a 4 year deal, and will make $57,000,000
The Cavs remodeled their stadium by putting black outlines on the sidelines, gold outlines around the letters, and wine red lettering. Because that's the color jerseys they wore when they won the finals in Golden State. Most people think the court looks great, but other people think it looks dumb.
There was a 52 year drought for Cleveland winning a championship. Most people were happy last year when they just made it to the championship. Then, everyone doubted them when they were down 3-1. The Cavs are the first team to ever come back from a 3 to 1 lead in NBA history.
The Cavs are going to do amazing this year.
The iPhone 7

Buyers are buying the iPhone 7 in stores all over America. The iPhone seven came out on September 7, 2016. They added many features to the new iPhone.
The display of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 7 are the same. The iPhone 6 is not waterproof but the seven is. The storage on the iPhone 7 is doubled from the iPhone 6. The iPhone 6 has a headphone jack, and the iPhone 7 does not. To get a pair of wireless headphones, it would be $159 or the buyers could use the ones that come with it.
A student was questioned about what they thought about the iPhone 7. Hunter V. said, “It’s not convenient if you want to listen to music because you can’t. I would not buy an iPhone seven.”
There are many options for an iPhone 7. Buyers have the option to get the iPhone 7 or the iPhone seven plus. They can also get many colors including rose gold, gold, silver, grey, black, jet black, and space grey. Buyers can get 32, 128, or 256 gigabytes of storage. They come with a pair of headphones that plug into where the charge port is.
The iPhone 7 has many pros and cons.
2016-2017 Bow Season

Hunters are ready for an exciting season of deer hunting. The opening date for bow season was September 24, 2016 and the closing date is February 5, 2017. The Huron County deer bag limit is three deer per person per season, but this counts for both bow and shotgun seasons. Hunters are allowed to shoot 30 minutes before sunrise and after sunset.
When bow hunting, the hunter does not need to wear hunter safety orange vest or coat. They can be on the ground, in a tree stand, or even in a deer blind to hunt. One should follow the manufacturer's rules and regulations for the treestand. While being in a treestand, the hunter needs to wear a stand harness. It needs to have a tether rope, a carpenter's belt and a strap going around the tree when the hunter climbs the tree. Be cautious when using homemade stands that aren't up to regulation. Always carry a phone and have a safety whistle. If the hunter falls off the stand, but has a tether, the hunter needs to have a standing rope to keep blood circulation to the heart.
Bow season has been going very well for some hunters. There have been big bucks shot in Ohio that have scores around 200. The scoring scale is based on how wide the rack is from the farthest point of the rack, how tall, and how many points are on the rack. As of October 5th, 2016, there have been 81 deer shot by archers in Huron County. Overall, there have been 12,024 deer shot in Ohio by archers as of Oct. 11, 2016. There has been two people which have different thoughts about bow season.
Clay K. states, ¨I have been bowhunting for three years. I also like hunting from a tree stand because it can be more of a challenge. The temperature has to be warm enough that the deer are moving around. The best time I like to bow hunt is in the evening.¨
Parker A. said, ¨I like to hunt from a tree stand. I prefer to gun hunt, but I bow hunt to get an early start on the season. I also like to shoot my bow because it is a lot quieter than a gun.¨ Parker prefers to hunt in the early morning because the deer are up and moving from being up at night. He has been hunting for about three years.
Bow hunting has become a very popular sport over the last century.
Ohio State Buckeyes

The Ohio State Buckeyes started off the season very strong. The Ohio State Buckeyes have won six games and haven't lost any games. Ohio State is ranked number two below Alabama. The six teams that they have beat are Bowling Green 77-10, Tulsa 48-3, Oklahoma 45-24, Rutgers 58-0, Indiana 38-17, and Wisconsin 30-23. The Buckeyes have scored 296 points, and only given up 77 points as of October 18th.
The Ohio State Buckeyes head coach is Urban Meyer. The Defensive coordinator is Greg Schiano. Their running back coach is Tony Alford, and their offensive line coach is Greg Studrawa. Luke Fickell is their linebacker coach.
As of October 11th, Ohio State's starting quarterback J.T. Barrett has 96 completions out of 152 attempts. He has thrown for 1207 yards and 16 passing touchdowns. He has 91 rushing attempts and 434 yard. J.T. Barrett has thrown three interceptions this year. J.T. is in the Heisman trophy race. The Heisman trophy goes to the player that does the best throughout the season. J.T. Barrett is a junior at Ohio State, and he could decide to go into the draft this year.
OSU will head towards Penn State October 22nd. On October 29th, the Buckeyes will head back home and play the Northwestern Wildcats. Ohio State will stay home and play the Nebraska Cornhuskers on November 5th. The Buckeyes will then ride buses over to Maryland on November 12th. The Buckeyes second to last game will be at Michigan State on November 19th, the only team that beat the Buckeyes last year. Finally, the Buckeyes will come home and play their biggest rival, Michigan.
Ohio State's starting lineup is very good. Their starting running back is Mike Weber, and he has 83 running attempts for 566 yards and four touchdowns. Dontre Wilson is a wide receiver and running back, and he has 15 receptions for 189 yard and four touchdowns, and Nick Bosa, a defensive end, has 13 tackles and two sacks.
The Ohio State Buckeyes will keep getting stronger as their season continues.
Hurricane Matthew

Hurricane Matthew was one of the strongest hurricanes ever. Since Wednesday morning on the 5th of October, it has moved northwest 12 mph with impacting winds up to 125 mph. The first place it hit was northwest Bahamas.
Matthew was also the first hurricane to strike in south Florida since Hurricane Wilma. Hurricane Matthew meandered off the southeast coast well into the following week. Hurricane Matthew is currently a strong tropical cyclone over, which was recently the first category five Atlantic hurricane since Hurricane Felix in 2007.
Hurricane Matthew lashed Florida with 100 mph winds, and 500,000 people lost power in their homes. The hurricane has killed over 132 people throughout the Bahamas, including 82 in Haiti. It had hit Florida on Friday October, 7th. Because of Hurricane Matthew, over two million people have lost their homes.
The news was tracking Hurricane Matthew by colors and warnings. There are different colors like green for rain, red is for tornado, yellow is for severe thunderstorm, and dark green for flash flood. The news also found out how much rain Florida got from Hurricane Matthew. They got a little over 8.2 feet of rain.
Reece K. was asked, what she thought about Hurricane Matthew? She said, “It's going to affect many people, and there won't be much left.” Then she was asked, how she would feel if she was in Hurricane Matthew? She said, “I would get out of there ASAP.”
Hurricane Matthew was very dangerous, and it has affected many people.
