Pizza on the Run

Let’s Pizza is a pizza vending machine that cooks fresh pizza. It started to be produced in 2009 in Italy. Each pizza is 10.5 inches wide and cooks in an infrared oven. The process to make a pizza takes about three minutes and costs five to six dollars. It even has
a glass
window so the customers can watch their pizza bake. The machine has a metal arm that squirts out the tomato sauce onto the dough on the freshly made dough. The machine has three main toppings and two extra toppings for the pizzas. The toppings are cheese, ham, pepperoni, mushrooms, and bacon. Let’s Pizza machine has four pizza choices that the customers can pick from that the machine has programed into the computer. The oven is a 700 degree infrared oven which cooks the pizzas in less than a minute and a half.
The machine can hold 200 toppings, but it can only hold dough and sauce ingredients for 100 pizzas. Using mineral water and flour, the vending machine makes the dough from scratch. Refilling only takes ten minutes for the dough and a little bit longer for the rest of the ingredients.
Cleaning only takes ten minutes daily or 45 minutes weekly. To clean the vending machine, the worker needs to wipe down the glass window and the pizza trays. Also, the worker cleans out the sauce container to make sure there is no mold in it. The light bulbs and coils need to be wiped down to help prevent rusting.
The Let’s pizza machine needs to come to America.
The Big Three

The Cavs big three is unstoppable. The big three involves Lebron James, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Love. Lebron, Kyrie, and Kevin Love came together in 2014 to make the big three. Since the big three has came together, they have won and lost a championship.
Lebron averaged 29.7 points, Kyrie averaged 19.6 points, Kevin Love averaged 16.0 points in the season.
Brayden B. was asked if he thought the big three is unstoppable, he said, “No, because when they play Golden State they have a big four. Other than that, the big three is unstoppable.”
The Cavs can potentially be a big four after re-signing J.R Smith. The Cleveland Cavs also might be signing LaMarcus Aldridge, b
ut they will be giving up Tristan Thompson and Iman Shumpert for him.
Zach S. was asked if he thought that the Cavs will win the championship again next year, he said, “Yes, because they are a good team, and I think they will pull it off again.”
Cavs fans are counting on the team to win the championship this season with the big three.
Colin Kaepernick Protest

San Francisco’s quarterback, Colin Kaepernick, has been protesting against The Star Spangled Banner since the 2016 preseason. Colin Kaepernick has been doing this by kneeling because bad things have been happening against African Americans and minorities in the United States.
Hunter V. was asked what he thinks about Colin Kaepernick’s protest, and he said, “It’s not smart to do that,” and he also said, “That’s why I don’t like Colin Kaepernick anymore.”
Many people started to dislike Colin Kaepernick because of his protest. A 49er’s fan told CNN that, “He’s got the right to do whatever he wants as an American. I just feel as an American we should respect our country and our flag.”
Colin Kaepernick started wearing special socks for this protest. His socks look like a pig wearing a police hat. Also, other NFL teams have protested by kneeling or putting one fist up in the air to represent justice during The Star Spangled Banner. On Sunday, October 16th, the 49ers played the Buffalo Bills and before Colin Kaepernick knelt during The Star Spangled Banner the fans chanted “USA, USA.” Outside of Sunday's game the fans were selling t-shirts with anti-Kaepernick signs on them. The fans also booed when Kaepernick took t
he field.
Brayden B. stated, “The Colin Kaepernick protest is disrespectful to the NFL.”
The Colin Kaepernick protest is a problem in the NFL, and not very many people like his decision, but some people are not against this some people like his decision.
Cedar Point 2016

People go to Cedar Point almost all year around to ride rides. Also, around Halloween, people go through haunted houses and also explore the giant pumpkins at The Great Pumpkin Fest.
Over the Fall weekend, people go through several haunted houses, such as The Slaughter House, Zombie High School, Cornstalkers, Cut Throat Cove, Eternity Infirmary, Hexed, Tombstone Terror-Tory, and Blood On The Bayou. When people go through some haunted houses they can buy a “no scare pass” so the scarers can just look at the people and not jump out at them.
At the Great Pumpkin Fest, people can get tickets as low as $53, and this year is the 50th anniversary for the festival. People can go to live shows, ride rides, and jump in a foam pit.
Lydia L. was questioned about if she had gone to HalloWeekends, if she went through a haunted house, and which one? She said, “Yes, it was called the Eternity Infirmary; it was creepy.”
Buyers can get a day pass for as low as $42 per person. If people go with someone that has a pass, they can get in cheaper, but still have to pay. There are mazes, scare zones, shows, and great experiences. Some of the rides people can not ride on Friday nights are Corkscrew, Gemini, Rougarou, and the Sky Ride because the haunted houses are in their place.
During Halloweekends, Cedar Point is open on Friday nights from 6-11 p.m., and Saturdays from noon to midnight, Sundays 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
HalloWeekends had several exciting things and is a great place to be with family and friends next year.
Trick or Treat Smell My Feet

Trick or treating is an exciting thing to do every year for most kids. Citizens trick or treat on either October 30th or 31st to get candy. When trick or treating, children go from door to door getting some sweets. People go to different houses, or pass out the candy.
Halloween started in Ireland by children and some adults dressed up in costumes like evil spirits, saints, angels, many other not so good things. They used to go around door to door during Hallowmas which means “All Saints Day.” All people would do is beg for food and money in exchange for songs and prayers. As time went on, it turned into the people getting candy and vampire teeth from the homes that they go to.
Anyone can dress up as anything they want to be, just be cautious about being a clown, because of the ordeal that is going around in the United States. Some fun Halloween things to do are carve pumpkins, go on hayrides, pick your own pumpkins, go through haunted houses, do Halloween crafts, and Halloween parties. When trick or treating, people should stay in a group and not walk alone. Around 40% of Americans dress up in a costume on Halloween, around 72% hand out candy, and 40% of adults sneak candy out of their own bowl.
There are many random facts about Halloween. The Halloween colors are orange and black. Orange comes from Fall harvest, and black represents death. Jack-O-lanterns used to be carved from turnips and potatoes. Halloween is considered to be the second most successful commercial holiday in the United States after Christmas. Some of the most bought candy for Halloween are Airheads, Kit Kat, Candy Corn, Sour Patch Kids, Twix, Skittles, Twizzlers, Three Musketeers, Lifesavers, Jolly Ranchers, Snickers, and many more.
Halloween is a holiday that most kids have fun with.
English Mastiffs vs Golden Retrievers

English mastiffs and golden retrievers have very many pros and cons. These mammals can be very playful.
English mastiffs are very playful, but they can take up a lot of space. The mastiff can live in an apartment, but it needs walked every day. English mastiffs can be very lazy, unless they get good exercise. In a dog's mind, the leader leads the walk.
Beware of hip dysplasia, be sure to feed them one or two small meals a day, instead of one big meal. Also, prone to Congenital Heart Defect, gastric torsion, ectropion, PPM, vaginal hyperplasia, elbow dysplasia, and progressive retinal atrophy. The weight of a male is about 160 pounds, and and the females are about 150 pounds. One of the heaviest dog breeds of English Mastiff is a male and it can weigh up to 200 pounds. The height of a male is 30 inches, and the females are 27 inches.
Golden retrievers have webbed feet. They really like to swim in the water, also Golden retrievers really like to play fetch in the water. Goldens will do anything to play in water.
Golden retrievers need a lot of exercise, so they don’t gain too much weight. They need regular exercise if they are living in an apartment, otherwise they’ll get fat. They need a large yard for exercise. If they live in a big home, they won’t need as much exercise. They don’t take up too much space, so that makes them a great family pet.
As the reader can see, these two dog have many pros and cons.
Drug Overdoses

In America drug overdoses have been a major cause of deaths since 2014. In 2014 the deaths from overdoses were the highest and its only went up since then. The state with the most drug overdoses is West Virginia. In America, on average, about 120 people die of drug overdoses per day, that’s 43,680 people per year.
Drug overdoses can be intentional or accidental. Death from drug overdoses affect both men and women of all races. Prescription drugs are only ranked third on the top five drugs that cause the most deaths as of October 16, 2016. In 2014, 47,055 people died from drug overdoses. That is 1.5 times greater than the number of people killed in car crashes, and 46,766 more deaths than people who were shot during crimes.
There are many programs to prevent and stop drug addiction and can prevent people from an overdose by completely removing drugs from their life. Unfortunately, some people who do join a program could just as easily revert back to being an addict. They could potentially overdose on drugs like Oxycontin, or Demerol because they are sometimes prescribed by doctors and are easy to get to.
Although it may be hard to understand why someone would work so hard in rehab just to relapse, it is quite common. It is quite easy to relapse if anyone is in early stages of rehabilitation; all that is needed is to be around someone while they are using a drug to become tempted. This does not mean to stay away from them or avoid them, because another way to be pulled back into the addiction is social isolation. Keep a safe distance from the person when they are using a drug and/or refer a program to get them off the drug.
Drug overdoses are now a very common cause of death, and it can cause a lot of pain to families.
Healthiness of School Lunches

The cafeteria staff in some schools cut some foods out of school lunches to save money for the school. If schools all across America, serve fresh healthy food the schools will lose money. To save money, some schools cut corners in school lunches by making the lunches unhealthy.
Fresh healthy food are more expensive than unhealthy food. The government makes the kids have a healthy lunch. According to NSLP (National School Lunch Program), if schools have unhealthy lunches, it won’t benefit the student.
Unhealthy foods can damage the student and can cause health problems. To help encourage healthy foods, schools should also make and keep a healthy environment by keeping a clean school.
The reporters interviewed their school cafeteria staff. Pat W., a cafeteria staff
member, says, “It takes longer to prepare the healthy food compared to the unhealthy food.”
Debbie S. replied with, “Fresh healthy foods are more expensive compared to unhealthy foods.”
According to Pam S., “We pick the menu by what the kids want, but the government tells us that we must have some things in the lunches.” The cafeteria staff decides to serve what the kids like with what the government requires.
According to a study posted in The Journal of Clinical Investigation, a test on rodents was conducted. They fed rats some unhealthy foods to experiment. The foods damaged the hypothalamus region of the brain. The hypothalamus produces hormones that control hunger, thirst, sleep, moods, and the natural rhythms of the body. The reason they conducted this experiment on rats was because they have a similar body function plan as humans. They react the same if injured; their nervous system is similar to ours too. Some things that unhealthy meals can cause is tooth decay, high blood pressure, heart disease, and strokes. Some schools need to serve healthy foods so that students don’t get any of those pain inducing things or get sick.
Healthy lunches help improve students ability to do well in school and to better understand what they are taught.
