"We're going to college!"
Several years ago, East Side adopted a program called "No Excuses University" to promote college awareness in our students. Starting in Kindergarten, and continuing through 5th Grade, students are made aware of college as one of the steps in their education. Each classroom teacher "adopted" a college or university, often the school that the teacher attended. Our classroom college is the University of Delaware. UD is located in Newark, Delaware. I graduated from UD in 1979 with a BS in Elementary Education and a minor in French. Since then I have obtained my High Ability endorsement from Indiana University. Delaware's colors are blue and gold and their mascot is the Fightin' Blue Hen, whose name is YoUDee.

After moving to Indiana, I got my High Ability endorsement from Indiana University. Check out IU's website. Would you like to be a Hoosier?
Maybe you'd rather be a Boilermaker - check out Purdue University's website.
