Macro: Coaching Models - facilitative, directive, dialogical, challenge-based, inquiry based/cognitive, student-centered
Micro: Coaching Strategies - collaborative inquiry, PD session, coaching cycle, data conversation, lesson model, learning walk, others?
Apply one model of coaching and one or more strategies that might help the teacher overcome the deficit thinking and build efficacy.

Step 1 = Read and individually annotate your excerpt. What stands out? What might be useful?
Step 2 = Join with others with the same color quote and discuss
Step 3 = Mingle. Meet with every other color of quote. Read yours and discuss what stands out/what is useful. Listen and discuss when your partner shares their quote.
Rules: 1) Pairs only! 2) Your paper must stay in your hands!
After Quotation Mingle, return to your scenario. What from the quotations can you apply to your scenario?
